Pink Egg facts and hatch odds

Status: Retired — trading only

Price: 100 Bucks

Retired: Jun 15, 2019

In June 2019, just before pets existed, Adopt Me ran a Pet Countdown event where players paid 100 Bucks to warp back in time and watch the Nursery being built. Tom rewarded them with the Pink Egg, making it one of the two oldest eggs in the game.

Hatch odds (community-documented)

Uncommon 100%

💡 Trade it, don't hatch it — an unhatched Pink Egg is a shrinking-supply collectible worth far more than the Pink Cat it contains.

Pets you can hatch from the Pink Egg

Pink Egg questions

What pets can you get from the Pink Egg?

The Pink Egg always hatches into a Pink Cat, an uncommon pet. The pool is exactly 1 pet, so there are no legendaries and no luck involved.

Is the Pink Egg still available?

No. It could only be earned during the Pet Countdown event in June 2019, which ended when the pets update launched on June 15, 2019. Now it can only be obtained through trading.

How much did the Pink Egg cost?

It cost 100 Bucks during the June 2019 Pet Countdown event. Players paid to warp back in time to the Nursery being built, and the NPC Tom gave them the egg.

Should I hatch my Pink Egg?

Almost never. Every hatch permanently destroys an egg from a fixed supply, so collectors pay far more for the sealed egg than a Pink Cat is worth.

Is the Pink Egg older than every other egg?

It is one of the two oldest. The Pink Egg came out just before the June 15, 2019 pets update, and the Blue Egg appeared the day pets launched.
